So overall it was an excellent year for our athletes, some
attaining excellent achievements and more gaining an introduction to some very high levels of athletic competition. None of this could have been possible without the hard work of our athletes, coaches, committee, helpers, parents and guardians. We thanks everyone for their help over the year and hope it will continue for the year ahead.

Other business discussed was Garda vetting for Coaches and Helpers.  Everyone working in the running of the club has to be vetted for the safety of our athletes, coaching staff and all who help out with the running of the club. Forms for Garda Vetting can be collected from Collette Byrne, if needed. A Child Protection Course may also be on the agenda and if anyone interested on doing this course should contact Patt Quigg.

As always the club is always looking for help. Anyone interested in helping at the Monday session of athletics which runs from 4.15 till 5.45pm or Thursday evening session from 7.00-8.30pm or Saturday evening session from 7-8.30p.m is very welcome to join us or contact any of the club coaches. If you would like to take it further by training as a coach, please contact any of the coaching staff or committee members of the club who will try and organise a local coaching course.

Trials will also take place for Sportshall after Xmas should any athlete like to participate.
